Kaitou Kid opens a doorway and stumbles in without looking. Everything about him appears normal, the hat, the monocle, the suit, the cape, all except his customary poker face. That was missing, which was understandable since he was walking like a drunken cat.
Oh, and there were bloodstains on him. Brown splotches of dried blood were mainly concentrated around his suit's collar. If one looked carefully, there was even some on his neck. Yet strangely, no wound was anywhere in sight.
Kid staggers blindly over to a couch, and it would seem that the sight of the furniture gave him pause. "Did I enter the wrong house...?" His words came out weak. As if he had no strength to continue, he collapsed down into the maroon colored cushions with a groan. The thief didn't even bother to look around to confirm or deny his theory. If there was anyone else in the room, he didn't notice.

The dark stains on his suit were not promising, neither was he delayed reactions or the difficulty he seemed to be having walking. Blood loss then -- but from what? "You are not well."

But that didn't dissolve the alarmed look of wariness in Kid's gaze. "Oh, meitantei. I didn't realize I stumbled into your house." His words, like the couch earlier, caused Kid to slowly blink once more. "Tantei....-san? You're back?"
no subject
He looked at the door Kaito had entered from but did not hear sounds of pursuit -- good. His companion's wariness had not gone unnoticed. "It seems you are not pursued," he observed. "You were attacked?"
no subject
"Yes, I think I was attacked. Although that doesn't matter as I seem to be unharmed." He patted himself down in emphasis and grimaced at his sullied clothes. "Just a bit tired." That was followed with a yawn.
"Ah meitantei... I never pinned you for one with a sense of humor. Upon whose house did I stumble into if not yours?"
no subject
"Shinichi, if you don't mind. And you have found a house of incomparable strangeness." Pause. "It might be as well to tell me your name."

At that point, Kid was finally willing to consider that perhaps this wasn't just his own confusion. That, or he was really hurt a lot more than just this strange lethargy and being covered in blood.
He must be dreaming. It would explain the mysterious blood on his suit and a yukata wearing tantei asking to be addressed by name.
"Nope, don't remember what happened. Just another heist, then I felt a dark shape coming over me. I stumbled here when I woke up..." He chuckled, "Or is that fell asleep?" No harm in telling some truth to a dream companion. Kid scratched at his neck, flaking away some of the dried blood.

"A dark shape? And you do not show signs of being wounded ... undoubtedly, a spirit. You will probably die -- ah, do not touch that!" He scolded Kaito, batting his hand away from the wound. "You will let in the bacteria."

By rights, his companion should be too weak to hold him. The pallour, the coldness -- he should be barely able to raise himself! Instead, Shinichi found he could not withdraw his hand.
"Ah?" Shinichi had a very bad feeling about Kaito's statement. "And do you care to enlighten us?" If only his sword hand wasn't trapped ...

"You're pulsing with it," he whispered. A pink tongue flicked out and he dragged Kudou's hand closer for a lick over its back. As if the close proximity of his food called to him, the light within his eyes shone brighter.

Shinichi snorted as Kaito licked his hand, trying again to tug it back. That was it? "Even Hei-kun's not that forward," he scolded. "And we have not been introduced."
no subject
He kept Kudou's hand in a vice-like grip between his two as he gave that hand a second lick. With the radial artery throbbing sweetly beneath his tongue, it was therefore a simple matter to sink his fangs in and drink.

Instinct kicked in and he tried to tug his hand away in panic, but Kaito's grip held. Shinichi took a deep breath, forcing himself past the shock and the stinging pain, to think.
Both of Kaito's hands were clamped on his own wrist, the other's head bent over it. Shinichi couldn't tug himself free, or reach his sword as he was -- but perhaps he could move his caught arm, divert Kaito's balance to his own ends? Bracing himself, Shinichi tried to pull Kaito off-balance and off the sofa.

"Itai!" Rubbing his head where he bumped it, Kid, with top hat fallen off and a tinge of crimson marring the corner of his mouth, sat up glaring at Kudou with clear blue eyes. "What did you do--" However, his tirade broke off when he saw the other was wounded. More importantly, he was responsible.
"W-w-what did I do?"

Still open? Vamp!Conan is now thrown at you.
"...Kaito?"
It was a Kaito. He could smell that much. And they were in private, and things didn't look good, so he figured he didn't have to stand on formalities. Especially since he probably would've slipped up at some point anyhow.
Yup, still open. But he bolted out of the study already. Mind if I changed venues?
He came to a darkened room, and without thinking, he scrambled inside. Hiding in the dark was a thief's best ability and he needed that comfort zone.
That was how the chibi found him, sitting in a darkened corner in an empty room... of some sort. Kid nearly jumped out of his skin when Conan poked his head in. Did he shrink back? "I'm sorry." It hadn't even sinked in that the other had called him by name.
Sure!
No matter what, this couldn't be good.
"...What is it? What happened?" He took a couple of steps further in. "...Kaito? Are you all right?"
no subject
Wide eyes picked up the beginnings of a pokerface as the mini-tantei approached. The thief absorbed that the other's hand seemed to be all healed. "I'm..." Avoiding answering what he had no answers for, Kid moved on, "I'm glad you recovered, tantei-kun. It's strange to hear you use 'Kaitou' without the 'Kid'."
no subject
"Recovered? But I- Oh. You're new, aren't you? I- I'm not the tantei-kun you met before. What did I look like before, then?"
He thought about following him up on the whole 'recovered' thing.. but if he was in this sort of state, that might not be the best idea. At least not yet. He did want to know what had happened, sooner or later.
no subject
Failing to make sense of any of this, Kid decided to just answer the question. If he was lucky, the chibi might be able to enlighten him afterward. "You were... ah... Kudou-kun again, wearing a yukata and carrying a strange sword." But recalling that specific image brought other images, and Kid grew a little green. "I bit you..." he whispered.

Only probably because as soon as she saw Kaitou Kid, that was out the window.
"WHY ARE YOU COVERED IN BLOOD?!" Chikage shouted.
no subject
Well, anything Kid serious was discussing with the chibi ground to a dead halt when a very familiar voice, and a very familiar figure, made her presence known to the room.
"K-K-Kaasan?!"
Thankfully, this Conan already admitted he knew the Kaitou Kid's real identity. His pokerface had gotten lost somewhere amongst his surprise too.
no subject
Future son was covered in blood. That was more important.
She turned on the light, to see more than what light the hallway gave, quickly crossing the room to look over Kid, checking for wounds. "You idiot, what did you go and do?! At this rate I'm going to think you inherit my luck instead of your fathers," she muttered, not paying him any mind as she looked over his neck and clothes to see where the injury was.
Kid of course might notice that his mother was a great deal...younger than she should be.
no subject
"Kaaaasan, I'm fine," he whined, automatically helpless in front of his mother. "The blood's not mine... well, it is mine, but I'm not wounded anymore. It's complicated, kaasan."
His eyes finally adjusted to the bright lights and he blinked at his young mother. "...You're not kaasan from back home."
no subject
"Was it a double of you? You can't have killed anyone, and I would beat you senseless if you had, but...it can't be you were treating someone injured. There'd be more on your arms and hands," she said, looking over his arms and hands. "So why...?"
And THEN she noticed the blood packets Conan had brought in.
"...what are those for?"
no subject
"Uh..." Should he even continue calling her 'kaasan'? But Agasa-san sounded weird and she really didn't seem to mind. "He has to be from another world. I..." Kid's glance dropped down to Conan and the blood quickly before looking back at his pre-mother. "I think I'm a vampire."
