[And, this is a very non-canon Shinichi, to be seen floating cross-legged with his eyes shut in the middle of the lobby. If you've seen the Star Wars prequels, you might recognise the brown Jedi robes and leather tunic as being padawan wear, and most notably for his rank, the braid that hung down over his shoulder onto his front.

After just a moment hovering there, he opens his eyes with a snap and falls to the floor with a rather undignified thump. He's starting to look worried.]

Stars, it's as though everyone just... disappeared. [Cue pacing around, not really taking anything in, but he's still talking to uh, himself. Or the Force. Take your pick. You might also be able to recognise the familiar-looking metal cylinder bumping against his leg.] Of course, I didn't feel them die, they simply vanished, not... and aside from that, I can feel a whole load of people here, too...

(ooc: This is a free verse, so feel free to play around in the sandbox - I'm still testing it out, and I what I write up here and in the character journal are mostly all I've got on it. Have fun~)

What some might call a natural, even. He's that much better at the whole 'set aside your emotions' thing, for instance. How is he in your world, then? [...He doesn't realise he might've said anything off just then. Anything about the Jedi code is an 'oh, but it's obvious!' thing to him.]

I certainly look forward to seeing them, then.

He comes across as very staid, serious, the last sort of person you'd expect to play tricks ... though like I said, I don't know him very well.

Certainly sounds like him, then. A very apt description, I'd say.

[Follows.]

[It doesn't take long to reach the basement and its row of dressing rooms. Ran steps aside, lets the doors -- and labels -- speak for themselves.]

[For a moment, he's just taken aback. That's an awful lot of rooms. Meaning, an awful lot of people. Strange that he can't sense all of them all the time through the Force, he thinks. It probably had something to do with the whole 'rooms moving around' thing.

He walks on in.]

I wonder how many worlds there are out there, that the Mansion has pulled us all from...

[A sudden breath in, and slowly out, and he then starts walking in a seemingly random direction, still staring at the many (familiar) names, and their scrawled-on stickers.]

[Ran watches Shinichi, slightly concerned.] Are you all right?

...hm? Oh, fine. I just- ah! Found it. [And sure enough, he's found his dressing room. Ran may or may not be able to read it, but it says, basically, the obvious. 'Shinichi Kudo, Jedi Padawan'. In Basic. Or, at least, for him.

He opens the door, to find not much more than a workbench, along with a few tools and a single spare set of robes. Not much. Enough to fix his lightsaber if it somehow managed to break itself, though. And so that he wouldn't have to embarrass himself if the clothes he was currently wearing suddenly became unwearable. He smiles, satisfied, and goes back out.]

[Ran peers inside curious, blinking at the furnishings -- very different to her own which looks more like a bedroom with wardrobe, desk and mirror.]

Well. I think that's everything.

[He bows, and once he's straightened again, he smiles at her.]

Well, it's been a pleasure, then, Ran. I hope we meet again.

[Ran returns the bow.] Knowing this place, I'm sure we will. Until then!
