[There is a Kaito standing outside, right in front of the mansion entrance, staring down an angel statue. He has a lead pipe in hand, lifted over his shoulder like a baseball bat, and he is trying very, very hard not to blink.

-- either he has gone crazy, or something really, really weird is going on.

Yeah. They're pretty strong. [he glances at the statue and shudders] Kinda creepy, too.

[Ponders whether to believe that. Then thinks of the Mansion and his life for the past five months.]

Okay. So, if it's an alien, why does it look like a statue and why do you look ready to attack it while having a staring contest with it? [Staring at the Angel too.]

... do you mind staring at it for a bit. Don't blink! [he's been at this for a while and he needs a quick break]

And will stand there, staring at the Angel.] Okay. So it can't move when something looking at it. And you're sure it's not just a statue?

[Kaito finally relaxes and rubs at his eyes with a few muffled curses]

I'm not completely sure, but with those things, it's better to be safe than sorry. [a frown] And it looks just like them, too.

It's an angel statue. So if they look like angel statues, that makes sense. Has it moved at all, or did you just walk out here and see it and assumed?

I haven't looked away long enough to give it time to move. [a frown and he glances up again] And like I said, they can't move at all when someone's watching them.

You're Kuroba Kaito, right? Do you know what Koizumi-san is? And can this thing go through walls?

... er, yeah. 'M Kuroba Kaito. Yes, I know what Koizumi-san is. [though what she is to him is probably very different than what she is to Conan] And now, it can't go through walls.
