[Toichi was not one to often seem like he was taken off guard. Even when he was, it was amazing how he kept most people from realizing it. This situation he's found himself in, however?

Well, even the great Kuroba Toichi has to have a bit of a 'bwuh' look at finding himself suddenly in a dining hall when he had been just walking into the kitchen. And quite the expansive dining hall at that with all the food prepared.

Sure, he could pull off a disappearing act, but he usually knew where he was going to end up.]

How...strange.

[Oh, and something to note? This Toichi looks...older then some people might know him as. At least eight years older than most Kaito's would remember him, in fact.]

That's what comes of being one of the few people Tantei-kun knows won't rat him out to just anyone. Hm... number two and the last one. But not exactly.

I'd really like to NOT have the image in my head that there's a world out there somewhere where Hakuba actually has a crush on me, oyaji. It's just... plain... wrong. Uck.

You can. And if you're talking about the same one, then maybe. Warn you, though - she's paranoid.

...Now you're just out to mentally scar me.

-except Tantei-kun and the little ojou-sama, that is. Oh, and that little entourage of theirs is going the same way. But mostly around crime scenes.

...Aoko and Koizumi do that enough back home, in their own special ways. [His tone says exactly what he thinks of that, too.] I don't need it from you too. Please?

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-24 08:55 am (UTC)(link)
True. But I'd say those two have crossed the bridge and gone over to the other side, sometimes.

'Met' is one word for it. 'Interesting' is definitely another. She joined my class not long after my first heist and kept trying to seduce me. She try the same thing in your world?

Which is sort of what I meant. But then there're the times when they get entirely the wrong end of the stick. And then there's either embarrassment or a great deal of... no. Just embarrassment.

Great. She call it that? And... old friend? [Curiosity. Since the man's not alive where he's from, he doens't know all of his dad's old friends. Except for the Kudos, that is.]

And it does, most of the time. But I'm still allowed to make fun of the time they thought the cat was running messages to the boss. That was just plain hilarious.

I'll admit that she has the capacity to be a very nice girl. Sometimes. You'd have to ask someone else about that side of her, though, because all I usually get is a variation on 'But we could have been so good together'. [a shudder says it all.]

Haven't heard that one before. Should I know him, then?

(ooc:...Dumbledore?)

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-24 10:18 am (UTC)(link)
The cat.

Oh, she can be nice all right. Just not normally around me.

...Nope. Never heard of him. [He's read Harry Potter where he's from. But he doesn't feel like explaining how that could be possible.]

(ooc: And it is awesome. There should be more worthwhile HP/MK.)

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-24 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
Kisaki-obasan's, would you believe. It kept wandering off, and a couple of purely coincidental events lead to the reason why we now call the boss 'Mr. Tiddles'. Because the cat deserved better, and I couldn't think of anything more incriminatingly disturbing for a hard criminal to be called. We all agreed on it, too.

Shame she doesn't show it so much when I'm around.

Not much different from magicians, then? [Big grin. It's good to talk to oyaji about that again.]

(ooc: I've written one, with the dubious title of 'Phantom Magic'. Because I couldn't think of anything better to call it. XD)

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 12:34 am (UTC)(link)
[Furious nodding.] They do. They really do. Preferably one where there weren't any crimes, but if thay happened, then Tantei-kun would get critically bored. And that's not something that's pretty to see.

...Remind me again why all the girls I associate with are tsundere?

I can imagine that~

(ooc: Definitely. All the good ones are either too obvious to come to mind, or already taken.)

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
That fits pretty well with how he is back home. Crime is a puzzle, heists are games. One of the few times he can actually let loose, I'd say.

...Aoko or Koizumi as submissive is a terrifying thing to imagine.

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Absolutely none without personal supervision, I can assure you that.

...urk. Definitely. Between them submissive and them as they are, I'd take them as they are.

[identity profile] thiskaitohaunts.livejournal.com 2010-05-30 12:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[For that, you get a grin.] I think he's reckless even with practice - then, he thinks he knows what he's doing.

...Kurobas choose their women wisely. That's all I can say.
