Conan and Ran curled up in bed together from the snowed-in villa arc

[At first, the Pikachu shies away from Aoko's touch, but once her fingers brush against her furry head, she relaxes, ears perking up a bit]

Chu!

[she nudges Aoko a bit more toward the fort, just as a certain magician pokes his tousled head out of the entrance]

Oi, Ko, did you find more pillo-- [aaaand he freezes as his gaze falls on Aoko, eyebrows shooting up in surprise. that little girl looks awfully familiar...]

Aoko?

[Aoko is still nervously resisting the nudgings, not wanting to get any closer to the Arbok, when Kaito comes out of the fort. She immediately lights up—she knows you!]

Niisan!

Niisan-- [well... he knows her too, but not in the way she might think. He reaches out to nudge Zuru away before he climbs out of the fort completely and continues to scrutinize the young girl. this place is... well, really weird, so seeing a child version of his best friend shouldn't get to him that much. but it is still... well. really weird.]

The hell... What are you doing here, Aoko?

[she visibly relaxes when Zuru gets nudged aside, though she still makes to cling to Ko's fur]

Aoko wants to play in the fort!

[Ko doesn't pull away as Aoko clings to her, moving forward to crawl back to her trainer with the young girl in tow. Kaito laughs weakly, before pushing Zuru away completely (the poor Arbok lets out a low, sad cry as he does so, too)]

There's plenty of room for both of us, and Ko, too. [he gestured to the Pikachu to indicate the Pokemon's name]

[lets Ko pull her along, caaarefully edging around Zuru and then turning her attention to the fort with wonder. And at the introduction, she nods and pats Ko on the head with all the exaggerated care of an overawed kid]

Thank you Ko-chan!

Chuuu... [Ko nods, then linefaces :| s-she didn't help because she liked you or anything, really.

Kaito nods at Zuru, reaching out to pat him once, before darting back into the fort, motioning for Chibiko to follow him as he crawls down a pathway]

[more pattings for Ko! :3 And Tinyko doesn't even need to duck as she follows Kaito into the fort, all excited now about being on an adventure]

It's so big!

It's the biggest fort I've ever made. [so proud of this face as he leads her to what looks like a giant blanket/pillow fort room, with pillows bunched up at the side to form a couch/bed like... thing]

Can't have a slumber party without one, anyway.

It's a pillow castle!! [flops down on the couch, tugging Ko with her] Is niisan the king?

[Ko lets out a squeak but willingly allows herself to be tugged, curling up on the girl's lap somewhat happily... but trying to pretend that she isn't]

King? [a grin] If you wanna put it that way~ I did build it.

[trying to be gentle :< and lots and lots of petting and scratchings!]

Did niisan build it all by himself?

Nope. [adjusting some pillows and flopping over onto them himself. man, it's really weird to talk to Aoko like this...]

These guys helped me. [points to Ko, then Biz (the Aipom) who has climbed up onto his shoulder and is now perched here happily as he munches on a banana]

Monkey! [niisan is a pillow king and a ZOOKEEPER this is so cool] What's her name?

[still petting Ko, too! She likes the soft fur ♥]

His name. And it's Biz.

[Ko likes this petting *A*]

Bizu?

[a laugh] Yeah, like that! [not quite, but she's still young, and he can't expect her to get it]

Hi Bizu!!

[waves for the monkey with the hand not petting Ko :3]

[Biz waves! then scampers off of his trainer's head to greet Aoko up close and personal. Kaito watches the exchange veeery carefully]

Were you here by yourself... er, Aoko-chan? [feels weird calling her that again, but it's a valid question. she's still too young to be wandering around by herself]

Nuh-uh! Niisan's here! [holds out a finger to Biz :O] And Daddy and Kid-niisan was here before!

-- Kid-niisan? [WHOA it is so weird hearing her talk about Kid like that...]

He had a birdy and helped Aoko-chan find Daddy!

Kid-niisan sounds like a really nice guy.

Aoko-chan likes Kid-niisan! And Daddy said he could play with us!
