Just a temporary speech impediment. You must've hit your head... Wait... why does everything look so tall? And the hallways so long? Uh oh, maybe not talking is the least of your problems.

You've all been de-aged. Not 17 going on 7 shrunk, but all ages going to toddlers de-sized. You're all still mentally normal (or what counts as your normal), but getting that cookie off the top shelf will be quite the climbing adventure.

Well, at least since he was still mentally twenty-five, he didn't have to worry about the toddler impulse to cry when injured.

He nodded, removing his hand from his face as the stinging went down. Along with a minor revelation. "Tha' didn' hurt as bad as usual."

Of course, that made sense. He had a shorter distance to fall at this height. One advantage to being short, he supposed.

Sitting on the ground next to the detective, Conan looked up at him curiously. "Ne, Ta'gi? Do you know why we're tinee?"

Takagi shook his head. A thought briefly occurred to him, but he dismissed it aloud, "Eben Kid can' do this, right?"

If Nakamori-keibu was to be believed, it seemed like the sort of prank that'd be up Kid's alley if the thief could pull it off.

"Cc..." Conan made a face, and tried the 'k' noise again. "Kkid's not that good." He waved a hand, more secure in gesturing now that he was sitting on the floor. "Even Gen'a said it was cheatin' to use a hole inna floor to disguise as him."

"Hole inna floor?" Well, that case hadn't happened to him. He'd have to file that away for future Kid heists...assuming his department had the misfortune to get involved again.

Cue toddler version of Takagi's thinking face as he put a hand to his chin. "Mebbe it was somethin' we ate? Or somethin' in the Mansion? It shifts 'round, right?" He shook his head. "No, tha' can't be it."
