The seal wandering around in the middle of the lobby might just be that incident for the mansion.

Conan flinches a little at that but he resists the urge to run off and find Ran -- you don't run away from problems. Instead he pauses as he reaches the top of the stairs, turning around to Hakuba. "I've got things to do now. Goodbye."
