At some point in the history of every interdimensional nexus, something strange, unprecedented, and just plain odd happens.

The seal wandering around in the middle of the lobby might just be that incident for the mansion.

That did get a bit of a surprise look. "Hakuba?" He said. "...well, I imagine Koizumi-san would be, but caring for it is another matter...guess eventually you had to hit the magic roulette."

"Yes. The witch." His tone went positively acidic for a moment, before he inclined his head in a slight nod. "Now, do you mind explaining the situation?"

"...I'm guessing she gets creepy at you, huh?" Conan asked.

He crossed his arms. "Well, you're already in the magic, so it makes it simple. This is the Mansion. It's a dimensional nexus that has a tendency to pull people that are all in someway usually connected in each world. Namely people we know more than likely or know someone who knows them."

Creepy was an understatement.

"Any particular reason, or is it still a mystery?"

"Still a mystery. No one knows whose behind this place, why they're grabbing us, or who keeps cleaning the rooms and restocking the food," Conan answered.

"How long have you been here?" Somehow still managing to communicate his normal interrogatory manner despite his form.

"Getting close to four months now. Haven't gone back home yet," Conan said.

"That must be annoying." An understatement. That would be positively infuriating. "And the inhabitants are limited to the interior of a single building?"

"Extremely. Especially since I was still assisting Kid in Akako's protection," Conan said with a sigh.

"We can go outside, on the grounds. But there's a thick fog everywhere and if you're not careful, you'll get lost. And the building isn't small. It changes size," Conan said and closed his eyes, placing a finger on his forehead. "I've been doing a trick Akako taught me, trying to feel how far the magic extends in the house. But it just goes up and out, almost endlessly."

Seal has a very low opinion of Akako, if that annoyed snort is anything to go by.

"Almost endlessly?"

Conan just gets creeped out by her. A lot.

"EVERYTHING has an end," Conan said. "I just can't see it."

"Not circles." Commented Hakuba, oh so helpfully.

"But they have an edge," Conan said.

"Usually." Don't question the magical seal.

"If there's no edge, it can't be a circle," Conan said with a shrug.

"Your definition of edges is very limited, isn't it?"

"If there's no edge, there is no shape."
