[Hey there, mansion residents! Today there are some... rather curious noises coming from the kitchen, for those inclined to investigate such things (or get themselves some dinner). Low voices, heated arguing, sudden silences -- followed by longer silences, and then more of the arguing. Then a gasp, and a grunt -- it almost, almost sounds like an escalating fight.


Except if you open the door, what you will find is one Kaito Kuroba and Aoko Nakamori -- and while they're probably the most likely ones in the dressing room to be having an escalating fight, that isn't quite what's going on.

On the contrary, Aoko has her back against the counter, Kaito's hand up her shirt, and her hands down the back of his jeans. No clothes are missing, so nothing important is really visible, but it's pretty obvious what's going on, especially given the heated kissing, wandering hands, and not-particularly-subtle groping. There's the beginnings of a lasagna dinner on the counter, but the ingredients have long since been abandoned in favour of the more immediate activities.

Their argument might interrupt any speaking the two girls might attempt to do, though]

[Now that his embarrassment is fading, Kaito is quickly realizing that, although the features are somewhat different, the voice is... almost the same.

Understanding washes over his features] You're--

[but he cuts himself off and glances away again. It's not his business to point this out in front of Aoko]

*Pon! It's a Kaito! A slightly younger Kaito wearing a small grin as he looks at them*

I think the fact you had your hand up Nakamori-chan's shirt speaks for itself. [Might note he sounds just a tad...annoyed at saying it. And he's far more tense than any Shinichi had any right to be, and yet speak so calmly. And if Kaito really is watching closely, it'd probably be obvious that Shinichi is trying to pull off his own poker face about what he's feeling.]

Well, it's just that the Edogawa-kun I know wears glasses.

[Change of subject is good! Change of subject means they aren't talking about what she and Kaito were just doing. And means that she isn't thinking of how much she'd been wanting it to continue. She just knew Kaito was going to turn her into a pervert one of these days, dammit]

[Kaito's bickering with Wormmon stops as he watches Aoko raise the knife. His eyes grow wide and scoots away, having missed the explanation]

[No comment to that, though normally it'd stir up a few heated protests from Kaito. He continues to watch Shinichi, gauging his reactions and drawing his own conclusions about the situation at hand]

[sheepishly; though he is wary to challenge the inspector's word]

T-to be fair, sir, I don't remember getting a warning!

[Suspiciooooous. There's kind of a resemblance, but he looks more like Kaito than anyone else. Also, trying not to blush over having gotten caught making out by a little kid. Hopefully he'll... attribute it to cooties. Or something.]

I didn't know Edogawa-kun had any brothers.

[Though things were different enough between a lot of the worlds for it to be possible... and on that note, what is a seven-year-old doing with coffee?]

He wasn't...doing the best job. It wasn't like it was WRITTEN on his face, but it wasn't exactly all wiped away either.]
