"KAITO!" And there's a Conan, one who looks to be about eleven, shouting in the DR.

"Bastard, I know you're nearby! This is getting old!"

He's a very irritated Conan at that. He's standing in the lobby, looking around at all those little nooks and crannies that any Kaito would just love to hide in to avoid someone who isn't quite used to tracking down his hiding spot.

"Hey, why don't you want us to remember?" Conan asked loudly, looking at the ceiling.

Nothing. He shrugged.

"Worth a shot."

Conan smirked. Yes, this version of himself was worth keeping tabs on. "For future reference, Ran and I are room 303."

"I'll keep that in mind," Conan said, looking back at his counterpart. "So, do we just claim rooms or are they assigned?"

"Ran just claimed his. No one's kicked him out yet -- and if they do show up to toss him out, then we've got a possible lead."

"And here I thought it'd never sound like a good thing to possibly get kicked out of a home," Conan said, chuckling.

Conan smirked. That had been his reaction, those few days ago. "Make sure you visit with your notes," he said. "It'll be interesting to compare."
