(no subject)

Yet another Conan has come to the Dressing Room. One who was actually a bit taller than the usual Conan. He looks more like he's eleven. Maybe even twelve.

Brought in kind of at a bad time too.

Which should be obvious to anyone who happens upon him as he stumbled through the hallway as he's clutching at his arm. Which is bleeding. Quite heavily. And that's not accounting for all the smaller cuts, torn clothing, and bruises covering the rest of his body.

"Damn it," he muttered, leaning against a wall. "Hello! Heiji! Kaito! Anyone!" Damn, damn, damn, where was he?! One minute he's running from Snake after escaping narrowly from the 'little surprise' left for Kid in his landing spot, and now he's in some hotel. At least it felt like his arm was only grazed, but he'd need stitches and he really couldn't afford going to a hospital.

If he could find a phone in...wherever here was.

He didn't even recognize this place!

"I guess so." He agreed, scratching his head. Though now he couldn't help but feel just a little jealous of this other version of him. He'd been able to live a normal life from the start. Lucky guy.

Yeah, with his luck he really would end up collapsing behind the house of his supposedly dead real parents. "Well... I wasn't living Ekoda until about that time." Not really a lie.

Well that confirmed it pretty much. "Hehheh. Yeah." That thought was actually kinda funny.

The reaction was different than when the wrist scars had been discovered, there were traumatic memories connected to that that he hated having brought up, but it was still a strong reaction coming from Kaito. His expression didn't quite go blank.

"Hmm, maybe there was, but it's not anything important really."

He really should have remembered how curious Conan is, but he'd been too wrapped in his realizations to think about that. "I'll try harder to remember that."

Now that he was really thinking about it though... "So how exactly did we end up working together in your world anyway?"

Well that must've sucked. "Really? And what rule was that?" He couldn't help but ask.

Kaito was thinking when Conan was finished. "That sure is some story." He said finally. "You know, for a while now I've been suspecting that the organization that shrunk you and the ones who killed Oyaji are one and the same, but I haven't approached the Conan in my world about it. It would be easier if we worked together, but I don't know if he'd agree to work with a criminal, even if it is the Kid." And they didn't have crazy trips to other worlds to help them out with that either, at least they hadn't, though he didn't know how his being here was going to help.

Then again. "Heh. Is that so? Well you'd know him better than me now wouldn't you?" He chuckled.
