[Have something that's quite different. Here's a Haibara Ai, quite content with the new situation here in the dressing room. Currently, though, she's sleeping on a bench, as if waiting for something to occur.

[This particular Shinichi has not encountered Haibara in child form. However he's noticed that there seems to be a trend among the people who show up here, and that plus the familiarity with Haibara that his counterparts share mean that he is not long putting the pieces together.

The question is will Haibara wake up before Shinichi makes his escape?]

[Haibara manages to wake up, hearing some slight noises. Her ears are actually heightened. Not that it matters, life was already dead to her. She no longer had her right arm, having given it away.]

...Kudou-kun? [The ability to speak was amazing. She hadn't spoken for ages due to the unbreakable glass wall, but now that it was gone, they could finally hear each other.]

Despite his better instincts, Shinichi turns to face her, taking in the lack of a right arm with some confusion -- none of his counterparts mentioned this.] Haibara-san?

[She might notice differences too in the pallour and the funeral-black suit, but the bullet wound is hidden by Hattori's baseball cap.]

[Of course, her Kudou-kun is currently Edogawa-kun, but in a place like this nothing seems impossible. She just nods quietly and realizes that Shinichi doesn't have his arm up in a sling.

I am surely no Alice. [Of course not, Wonderland was beautiful and mysterious, but the place that she lived was not like that. Haibara was already dead, a part of the Afterlife, not a ghost. But Kudou-kun had died as well. Even if there was no Organization in her world --]
