In the aftermath of Christmas, the Mansion is still decked out in its festive finery, inclusive of the trees dotted around everywhere.
Tadashi has found a comfortable spot in the lobby, a big armchair by the fire that he's currently curled up in with a good book. If you were to get in close enough to read the title, you'd find that he's reading Holmes.
Strangely enough, there's a white fox next to his chair, although it does seem to be asleep right now.
They both seem very relaxed. Which is, of course, clearly a sign that they want to be bugged and annoyed, right?

He'd been perfectly happy just reading. He'd read it several times, but what was that to get in the way of a good story?
But. Those eyes.
Slowly, the book is being put down.

Also, the only other chair is occupied. "Uh. Is he yours?"

The Mansion must have foreseen this. Tadashi himself had certainly not noticed the other chair before the other boy had appeared.

"...Oi. Could you move?" The folded chessboard rattles, pieces inside. "I'm about to play chess, I need a seat."
How... Polite... (Damn it OK)

"Ah... do you normally talk to foxes like that?"
More like, do they normally act like that, his face says.

BUT HEYYYYYY
"Whatever works right?" Oh boy that grin can't be good.
