If anyone's down in the kitchen tonight... some time around midnight... they might be in with a bit of a surprise.

There's a figure rooting around in the fridge.  One not dressed in black, but with white hair, in a light green turtleneck sweater and light jeans.  Certain things are being pulled out, and put to one side.

He's also got the air of someone who hopes he isn't going to get caught.

"Really? It's that hard to imagine?"

"...Bit of a universal constant, us being in a giant and otherwise entirely villainous criminal organization really." Shrug, eat meat... "Heck, I'm probably an exception, getting out... Especially the way I did," he adds with a dry laugh.

That earns a dark look - but not at Koji. "Villainous indeed... The depths an organisation would go to, to take on children and keep them like that... But you did get out. At least there's that, hm?"

"Er-" Looking over himself now and realizing what his appearance implies. "Yea. This.." Gestures around self. "Is kinda how I got out... I'm supposed to look about your age right now." ...

Possibly older, shush.

"Eh... is that so?" Still chopping stuff. "Hn... I knew about the kit, but others as well?" He shakes his head. "As if I thought things weren't bad enough for him already..."

"Kit?" Wait. "Ah- You mean Megane?!"

"...Megane... Oh! You mean, because of the glasses, right?" He laughs a little self-consciously. "Then, I suppose so!"

He's going to just keep cooking now. Putting the wok on and putting oil in... then the first set of ingredients...

"Er... Y-Yea..." Nodding. Very slowly (whoisthis)...

"...How the heck do you even know him..?"

"I guess you could say we're very distantly related?" My, that is a very strange smile you're wearing there, Akio. "You could say we're both under the same 'family'..."

This is probably not the expected reaction.

"...Feather-brain's a fox!?"

"Ah-! Distantly, distantly! Must be... oh, at least a hundred years or so ago. But still, not completely human."

And... since Koji figured it out through both logic and his nose? Out come the ears. And tail.

"Whereas I'm only a little bit human on my father's side~!"

While Akio's hands are busy keeping everything moving inside the wok.

...It's a stir fry, Koji. Those things usually have strong smells attached to them. Akio can deal. Then again, he was born this way.

"Eh?" Stirring, stirring. "Should be clear... don't distract me when I'm cooking."

Especially not with tempting opportunities such as that tiger nose.

You do know, he's likely to start calling you kitten now. Right?

He doesn't care, he is too busy keeping his distance from that furry MENACE you call a tail and covering his 'poor nose' as he mutters to himself.

As far as Akio himself is concerned? That is fine. Absolutely good! It means he can get on with his cooking in peace.

Not that there's much left to do... just let it cook in, really.

"Ki-tsu-ne!" Each syllable is broken apart with a wave of his index finger back and forth. "I was born this way. And right now, my nose is human. Mostly."

And that makes ALL the difference. Obviously.
