[It seems that there is another 'Kaito' in the mansion today, with an interesting accessory around his neck. As far as Kaito's go though, nothing seems to be out of place... He's obviously happy (always happy, it's Kaito.), and he's just sitting down to eat in the cafeteria right now, and-]

[OOC - 'OK' or 'the other Kaito' is a little more cheery/'human' as a necessity in his world; since acting like the initial puzzle spirit (IE - SOCIOPATH) would very quickly make Yugi avoid him. Moreover, Hakuba and a number of Kaito's classmates figured out that there were 'two Kaito's fairly quickly, so it's a lot more accepted for them to switch around as opposed to Kaito constantly calling the shots.]

Shrug. He cares not. What are teachers when you have a millenia-old spirit timesharing on your cousin and you still work for a criminal organisation?

"Children's card game," comes the grunted answer. "Nothing you'd be interested in."

"Oh...?" Red-eyed gleam.

Uh-oh. "You think so..? I like games quite a bit actually..." That grin. Is getting wider. "Mind if I take a look?"

Puts the cards down on the table clear of any food.

He is watching you. So you may feel eyes on you until you give them back.

Yata-Garasu is the first card, and he sets the benchmark - a lot of corvids, here. Crows and ravens, mostly. It's a very well put together deck, built toward taking the opponent out as quickly as possible, using both brute strength and subtle manoeuvres.... as well as deadly one turn kills.

All in all, a strange deck for a seven year old to be playing with, right?

"Ah! Duel monsters!" Okay what. "And you've got some interesting cards too, I've never seen these..." Hmmmm~~

Watch him frown at you. "How could you call it a 'childrens' card game..." That... So insulting..!

"You know of it, huh?" That's one way of putting it.

"It's a card game designed for kids. My cousin played a little when he was the age I am now. Maybe a bit older. Why not call it a children's card game?"

Although the images on some of them beg to differ.

"Most of the people I know playing it are my age. Some older- also, certain strategies seem a bit beyond a kids level." At least in his opinion. "And of course I know of it, I play the game."

He says as he pulls out a deck of cards.

"See?"

"Eh?" Sakai leans over to get a proper look at the cards. "Hey, I recognise some of these..."

He points at one in particular.

"That one. My cousin's friend used to use that one all the time."

"Oh really?" He smirks. "Dark magician huh? Tell the truth, I don't think I've seen too many in Domino with this card..." It's a bit rare... Like. Obviously not 'blue eyes' rare but... "Where's your cousin from?

"Domino." Not like he's got any real reason to lie. "Bakura Ryou. You know him? The guy who's got that card's actually kind of famous nowadays." Shrug. "It might be different where you are, though."

"Bakura..!? Of course I do!" Grin. "We dealt with his ring a few times-" Pause.

"Wait, that's your cousin?"

Raised eyebrow. Oh really, did you.

"Yeah. And I don't think that damn Ring can be 'dealt' with. It's still around in my time."

"Whaaaat..?" DISBELIEF IS HERE. "What do you mean your time, how old is he..??"

"Twenty-two. And he's at university. I'm guessing yours is still... what? Sixteen? Seventeen?"

Nod nod. "Hahh... No way..." He leans back against the table. "If all of the things that happened in the past year weren't enough, there's that much longer..." He...

He likes games too, but can't they just take a break then..!? Have a game without lives on the line??

Have a shrug. Because right now, he's feeling like being a troll. :D

"If it helps? Ring's the last one left. The others disappeared about... four years ago now, I think."

"Only one left..!?! You mean everyone's going to be stuck with that THING??" Very obvious HORROR here..!! "That... That can't be right, that thing almost killed everyone...!! If I hadn't... If I hadn't been there..!" Uh.

"That's still my cousin, and whatever you're talking about happened several years ago. If Mutou can live with it, then you should be able to as well."

"If I'm not there... Yugi doesn't have anything against the ring..! Magic is stopped with magic, there's no other way..!!"

An apparent seven year old is giving you a flat look.

"You're... your world's Spirit of the Millennium Puzzle, right?"

You can tell just from that exactly how impressed and awed by you he is.

"I never said he was defenceless..."

And for ONCE he does this on purpose. He calls Yata out. Who immediately perches on one white head to look quizzically at OK.

"Eh?" Blink. Blink.

And look away as a Kaito would (he's picking up on his habits a lot..). "N-Nn. That's right. And I know that Yugi and the others are able to handle themselves but..." Grimace. "When it comes to the 'dark games', it's completely different, especially against the ring spirit..! It's-"

Oh hey. "Oh. A duel monster..?" He recognizes it as such..?

"Heh... I'm sure he'd be flattered to hear that from you!"

A nod. "Yata-Garasu. Only top, shadow-touched Duelists can do this... or if there's a strong bond between the Duelist and the Shadows."

In his case, it would be the latter.
