[It seems that there is another 'Kaito' in the mansion today, with an interesting accessory around his neck. As far as Kaito's go though, nothing seems to be out of place... He's obviously happy (always happy, it's Kaito.), and he's just sitting down to eat in the cafeteria right now, and-]

"Heh. Itadakimasu!"

[OOC - 'OK' or 'the other Kaito' is a little more cheery/'human' as a necessity in his world; since acting like the initial puzzle spirit (IE - SOCIOPATH) would very quickly make Yugi avoid him. Moreover, Hakuba and a number of Kaito's classmates figured out that there were 'two Kaito's fairly quickly, so it's a lot more accepted for them to switch around as opposed to Kaito constantly calling the shots.]

"Maybe I'm just not concerned about a you from 'another world' talking about it. You obviously already know- and you're not lying..." [Who would dare?] "So there's nothing for me to worry about."

[Pause.] "...I'm still not a 'creature'. Or a 'supernatural entity'..." [...Actually wait maybe he is.

But Kaito is NOT, and THEREFORE...]

You still didn't blink and you seem unfamiliar with the concept. That's the odd thing. Even if you had a couple more years to perfect poker face more fully somehow, it's...odd. [And his instincts did not want to let it go. So he wasn't because it was just enough to get to him.]

Not that there's real danger in 'me' knowing. It's pretty common we actually have similar goals.

Then what's with the red eyes? And the hair? If you're going to start dying it, I wouldn't peg you for going for subtle.

"Not dyed, and naturally red. Besides." [Smirk.] "I could easily hide that if I wanted."

[He just doesn't want to.]

I wouldn't be surprised if you could. I've seen Kaito change people's hair into bright colors in an instant.

But Kaito is a pretty loud type of person. Subtle dye jobs don't seem his thing, so it's a natural part of what makes 'you' different.

[OOC - And then suddenly BAM! EXODIA, WHAT-]

"Hehehe. Maybe. Maybe not." [OK stop being vague.] "It's a good thing I don't sit around the 'you' of my world all the time, or I'd have problems." [In the form of kids getting involved in the wrong sort of games or something like that.

Bad enough that his own friends (not to mention Kaito's) were pulled into things...]

[Shrugs.] Actually, it might do Kid some good. A lot of worlds, the people he's after and the people I'm after are the same.

So long as I'm not a 'real Conan.'

"Hnnn... Still prefer you don't get pulled into my messes. Especially with those kids following you all the time." [Nodding to self now...]

[Scoffs.] That's what I'm saying. More often than not, Kid and Conan are in the same mess. There is no dragging. [Looking along the tables for something to drink.]

Murder follows me. That...I can't keep the kids from. [And there's a look of guilt for a few moments before he banishes it again.] But I'll be damned if I let them within a mile of that mess. Been doing pretty good so far, even when they were in the same hotel.

"..."

[Game's over he supposes.] "This mess isn't one that comes from 'KID', or from 'Conan' though- if anything, it has nothing to do with even 'murder'. It's a little different, in this case." [Pause.]

"So yea! There's 'dragging' to be avoided!" [Last part said with a grin, heh-]

So the entity you are is something that shares Kaito's body, right? Possibly ancient spirit possessing that puzzle of some sort? [And for his part, he doesn't look surprised.] You are a bit unnervingly calm to be a Kaito counterpart, yet not be totally psycho on some level.

Not that it's something he's unlikely to help you with. As long as it's not too serious of laws you have to break to do it. [Ah, and there's the coffee. Pouring himself some.]

"Heh- right on the mark... You'd make a pretty good strategist I bet." [~~Maybe he should get a game of RISK set up~~] "And I'll take that 'psycho' comment as a compliment."

[While you get the coffee, he'll get the vending machine.] "I still don't plan on getting any more of Kaito's acquaintances mixed into things though. They've done enough... And it's not something that they should have had to deal with. Once is plenty... And even then, I know that's not going to be the end." [That's a bit depressing...]

I would think that'd be obvious, with how well I keep up with Kid.

More of an iffy thing. It means you're not a psycho Kaito. Still not sure of what to make of 'you,' but it is a good sign.

...well, of course it won't be the end with that sort of attitude.

"Hn? You don't think fate plays into it?" [Snort.] "You might keep up with 'KID', but good luck keeping up with me..~"

[And Conan laughs.] I can say without a doubt if any Conan can keep up with thousands of years old entity that likes to play games, it'll be me. It's par to the course, really.

As for fate... [scoffs.] Really gonna say it's unavoidable in this place of all places? If nothing else, it proves fate can change. Maybe it'll be hard to avoid sometimes, but... [And then there's a flash of a sad, bitter look.] Even the strong fate you want to happen may change when you least expect it.

"Well yea but-" [Actually hang on. Given where the puzzle wound up, and what that big ol' stone slab at the museum had on it...] "... Huh. Guess you've got a point." [A 'Kaito' (of sorts) admitting Conan is right?

What is this-] "Still not telling the you in my world," [he adds with a dry look.]

Well, you're Egyptian. I'm assuming ancient. I've been playing games with those sort of beings for a year now. Haven't lost yet and they would really like to kill me. [The most put upon of sighs. Oh, you witches and your crazy fascination with dismemberment.]

[Shrugs.] I'm just trying to make it easier for you. You can get that whole 'magic isn't real' thing out of the way quicker too, depending on the level of his attention you get. But maybe you can avoid it, a few worlds have managed. It's just one of the better 'fate' things that happen a lot. Just remember fate isn't a guarantee and the opportunity might be robbed from you.

"Eh- when I'm sure you can handle games that include the risk of spontaniously combusting, I'll let that you know." [Pause.

And look to the Conan beside him.] "...Wait, since when did you..."

[Another chuckle.] You're acting like I don't. I've already gone through the impalement thing, maybe they'll use fire next to change it up. [Aaaaaall the put upon expressions.]

Believe in magic? Hard to pinpoint, but I was on a supposedly sentient island for six months without anyway home. And a lot of the crazy things that happened there could put the Mansion to shame. I can also teleport now.

Though I still have tested that power here yet, I don't know if it still applies.

"Though the idea of you playing 'Ra Jin Hai' makes sense I guess..." [So he plays more than duel monsters??!]

It applied to both parts. I play games. I can also end up playing games with someone who may or may not try and maim me if I lose. Or play headgames. Depends on whose playing and their mood.

"Strategy game I played once- a lot of it involves bluffing your opponent with headgames so... Yea."

[He grins.] "Something tells me a few of the other games I play wouldn't be your thing. [They involve improvisation and people going insane.

Those are my favorite games. [And they are. Because he's a masochist, playing against witches, really.]
