[And there's a Kazuha, standing in the hall, having opened the door to what SHOULD have been her bedroom, only to find it was really leading into a hallway that CERTAINLY wasn't in her house.]

What in the...? [She looked back, seeing an empty study behind her.]

...eh? [And have a very confused Kazuha.]

[Oddly, she's in a black dress suit, complete with black ribbon.]

[Which is apparently as good a time as any for a ... well, she could be a Sherry, even if her carriage is a little off for that - to be in the hallway, getting her bearings.]

[And keeping a slightly polite/cautious distance; she hasn't encountered any reason to be very wary here yet beyond the possibility of one of her former "comrades" showing up, so it's mostly just courtesy and still adjusting to "people she knows, but not".]

[She looks over at the voice and freezes. For a moment, her mind is reeling. That was...]

[But she quickly recovered, using the surprise on her face to fuel her reaction.]

Ah, I don't think I...know you? Are you related to Haibara-chan? You look...eerily like her. [Who wouldn't be surprised to see a grown up version of a little girl they knew? Especially when that person acted like they knew you, but you shouldn't know her.]

[Though it did beg the question of WHY. She never met Sherry faced to face or the game would have been blown right away. And why WAS Sherry around? She was supposed to be a brat in Agasa's house!]

[Considering that she is older - if not as much as most would expect - it's enough to explain the surprise.]

Something like that. [lopsided smile; just because she doesn't hide when she's had a possibly awful idea, doesn't mean it's always easy to guess what it is.] Have you been here long?

[On the inside, Kazuha was freaking out because What The Hell?! But on the outside, she was a talented liar and was keeping a straight, if curious, face.]

Who or whatever's responsible is very good at this - but then, they'd have to be, to keep a place like this crawling with detectives and keep them all in the dark.

[Shrug.] I've already tried walking outside; go far enough in any direction and no matter what you do to make sure you're walking a straight line, you end up right back at this mansion.

I'm not sure what this place is - I don't know that anyone really is. But there's a good number of people here that were "kidnapped" like us... [shrug] And I've run into a few that weren't quite the versions of themselves I know that knew enough to pass tests that they were who they claimed to be, just ... different.

Anyway can recognize I know Ai-chan. Heiji and I are around those kids a lot in Tokyo.

[Oh, she could use this. If this was true, it would be SO much fun. And if it wasn't?]

[Well, she could deal with that too.] So, if you're really Ai-chan, how old was she when I met her?

That's where I know you from - trips to Tokyo visiting Conan, and occasional other invitations. [Well, that is what it was for a good while.]
