| Perhaps it's a little late, but the Mansion is celebrating the occasion beautifully. There are hand-crafted decorations adorning the walls, and sprays of pink, red, and white flowers in vases throughout the rooms, as well as ornate ice sculpture of couples (chastely!) embracing in the lobby and dining hall.
The food has changed to more of a sugary theme; pink and red embraced again. Ornate ice cream piles, staying strangely cold, fluffy cakes, heart-shaped sushi, delicate chocolates surrounding chocolate fountains and... raw... hearts? For all types, it seems.
There's even careful stacked bento with pink-tinted rice inside... and a faintly odd taste... and oh my, your neighbour is looking awfully kissable...
And as for the dress... You've all gained a mask, it seems, and formal clothing. Somewhat archaic, for those used to 20th century fashion, there's waistcoats and suspenders, top hat and bow-ties with starched collars, bustles and petticoats and lightly-laced corsets. The masks are ornate and beautiful, no two the same, covered with glitter and feathers.
There are trinkets on offer as well; a token of love or affection... and those of betrayal. A corsage of flowers, a delicate golden chain, crystallized fruits ... or a poisoned letter (guaranteed to make the recipient woozy!), and other less savoury gifts. Each of you has a velvet bag at their waist for each of these.
So why not get out and enjoy the season, in style? Find a loved (or despised) one and enjoy the day, the treats, and the trinkets.
[ooc: In true Manorly fashion, all evidence of the event will vanish after the day, though trinkets will remain and tiny confetti hearts will be found in the most unfortunate of places for days to come. The sushi is one-kiss infatuation, to whomever they set eyes on first. The trinkets/traplets bags are magically refilling, and appropriate to the giver/gifted. Have fun!] |
