Well, we know some sorts, of course. There's the rubbery men, and the clay men. The devils and the soulless. Whatever it is that happens to live in the Labyrinth with the tigers. Jack, though what he is doesn't really have a proper name... [ says that with irritation, then tacks on the next item with a healthy dose of disgust (and what might, perhaps, be some tamped fear) ] ...the cantigaster and spider-councils... and of course, many people claim to know what kind of beast the Vake is, and none of them can prove it.

There's some argument over whether the tomb-colonists are still to be considered human, but I don't put much stock in it. Besides, it irritates them.
