Okay, I've been a pony and a Pokemon, I'm just gonna take yer word for it that Heiji was a girl for whatever reason.

He's a boy normally.

[s-snort] This is why it's a bad idea to try to fill in the blanks with supposedly familiar people who may come from places completely different than your own.

[not that he really has room to talk since doing so was one of the first things he tried upon arrival]

I-yes. Well, maybe. Bad for us. We have too many blanks in our memory, it makes it hard ta compare thin's.

There's a Conan here who told me I was his best friend when I first arrived, and another who said he barely knew me at all. I met a guy named Ran on my very first day, only to remember later that Ran is supposed to be a girl where I come from.

'S really weird here. But it has running water and free food, so who'm I to complain? [also reaching for the jacket again] Lemme try, I think I've got it now.

[Boy Ran.] Yeah....Ran is a girl in my memories too.

Jinx and Quartz get along well. [Pause.] Actually, I think he gets along with everyone. He was the first ta figure out we were all from the same place. I assumed everyone knew for a while and found out they didn't.

But it's like...I dunno, it feels like he's in the center of a bunch of stuff, even with yer stuff bein' separated from our stuff.

[blink] 'Stuff?'

The doom stuff that got FIVE people from home in an amnesia murdercave. That is all somehow a big secret.

Haa... the 'stuff' I don't remember yet but keep hearing second-hand from everyone here.

Though it's kind of obvious now. Conan-kun is a freakish child and Heiji is obviously hidin' somethin', I just didn't think about it at the time.

[he has heard stories and has silently agreed not to pry anymore. and now he is stitching up his jacket again, marginally better than last time! very marginally]

'S kinda hard to miss that there's something off about Conan. Pretty smart for his age, isn't he?

[Snorts.] That's one way ta put it. I'm pretty sure it's only cause I was used ta Heiji that I didn't realize how much he was. Gettin' a fresh look, it's all pretty obvious.

I've noticed a lot of things become pretty obvious the further I go. Some of the things I learn in the beginning just don't make sense out of context.

Jinx doesn't like ta tell me much. Hakuba-san just said a bit too much that one time and what he said before, I put together the pieces of his double life. But he seems ta have a pretty good idea what we're doin', since he's convinced it's different thin's.

[And will point out possible things to improve that sewing there too.]

... haa. 'M not surprised, considering what I remember sort of matches up to what he does. Magician's secrets, after all~

Pretty much that exact reasonin'. Still, can't be a bad thin'.

Heiji and I have pretty strong police connections and if that guy is willin' ta come ta Sabra La Tau for whatever he's tryin' ta do, it's gotta be important. And he's certainly not a bad guy, so it's probably some noble thief...thin', yeah? If the wishes don't somehow cover it, maybe we can offer him support somehow.

Aaah, I might be able to answer some of that myself. But it isn't really my place to do so. I'm not him.

I don't remember this place back there. I might not even remember when we finally get home.

[shaking his head] I don't remember the mansion when I leave, either. But some people I've talked to do. 'S weird.

It might be due to Sabra La Tau and...wherever ya are. Losing memories and such...might be they get turned into berries until they're earned.

Or however ya get yers back. Get 'em back in games and such?

Games run by mythical beings with way too much power for their own good? I wouldn't classify them as gods, though.

Judges were old gods. Still run the world, so still pretty much the gods anyway.
